Golden Paw Gala
Saturday night was the inaugural Golden Paw Gala fundraiser for the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. I attended, and I also volunteered to help hand out items won to the silent auction winners at the end of the gala.
I got to meet Benji, one of the dogs available for adoption. He sure was a dapper looking fellow in his bowtie!
There were lots of neat items up for bid in the silent auction, but I didn't see anything that especially caught my eye that I bid on.
It was fun congratulating the winners when they came to pick up what they won. Some people were winners on 3 or 4 items! Can't wait to hear how much the League raised during the event!

Benji looks like a little sweetie, hope he finds a good home and that they raised lots of money.
