Long Weekend Over :(

My 4-day weekend is at an end.  I sure could get used to having those more frequently!  The remainder of the weekend wasn't nearly as productive as the first day and a half, but overall I think I did a good job of checking off items on my to do list.  For the remainder of the weekend, I managed to:

• have fun attending the Golden Paws Gala fundraiser
• register for my next class, with my favorite professor, no less!
• filled a box to go to Goodwill
• use my new camera at the fundraiser and to take some fall pictures (close ups of leaves and other fall colors)
• decide to sign up for a class on Photoshop through Big Picture Classes (it starts on Thursday)
• pick the new girl up on Saturday and acted as chauffer for a few hours till she  could check into her corporate apartment
• finish reading the library book I started Friday and started another (this one by Patrick Taylor - An Irish Country Doctor)

Tonight is the Friends of the National Zoo Photography Club meeting.  I anticipate a busy week at work, but have a 3-day weekend to look forward to next weekend because of Veteran's Day.  Life is good!
