Christmas Eve

I drove to West Jefferson, NC yesterday for a visit with mom and Sid.  I had thought there would be a lot of holiday traffic and that it would slow me down.  There may have been a lot of holiday traffic; but ironically, I made the best time ever!  Just shy of 6 hours.

Today has been an overcast, rainy day.  The only critters I have seen are a few birds that flittered by too fast for me to get a picture, some squirrels, and flock of wild turkeys.

We did a little shopping earlier today, then came back home and had lunch.  Now I'm puttering on the computer as Sid takes a nap and mom straightens up in the kitchen!
