It's After Midnight - What are YOUR Cats Doing?

I was puttering around on the computer and looked over my shoulder.  What did I see, but Pepper and Dublin seemingly engrossed by something outside the sliding glass doors that lead onto the balcony off the kitchen.  Should I be concerned about what has their attention?!?
