• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I've decided to start participating in Teaser Tuesday, so here is my teaser for today:
"The Space Needle was amazing, and Beast peeked out to get a good look, snarling. Too tall to use for watching prey. Stupid human buildings."
p. 62, "Death's Rival" by Faith Hunter (OK, so I cheated just a little and included 3 sentences. But they were short ones!)
Death's Rival is the fifth book in the Jane Yellowrock series. I'm currently reading the books in order."The Space Needle was amazing, and Beast peeked out to get a good look, snarling. Too tall to use for watching prey. Stupid human buildings."

Sounds like a fascinating book, especially since I live in the Seattle area. I'm curious about that beast!
ReplyDeleteMy Tuesday post features the Rawhide ‘n Roses anthology.
Not too much of the book is set in Seattle, I'm afraid. The series (at least the books I've read so far!) is primarily set in New Orleans. Book 4 is set in Asheville where I'm currently living. That's one of the aspects that drew me to the series!
DeleteThe Space Needle is definitely way too tall for lookout duty of any kind. I like the sound of this book. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt's my pleasure to share! If you decide to try one of the series, I hope you enjoy it as much as I am!
