Pepper becoming a bit more social

Pepper has always been a bit on the skittish side compared to Dublin who is very friendly with anyone who walks in the house (especially if they are wearing shoes he can check out!).  It's not that she isn't friendly, it just seems to take her a while to warm up to you.  Sometimes I'll be on the couch reading or watching TV and she'll jump up with me for a brief petting session, but it never lasts long, and she's off.  Last night I was doing homework on the computer and she was hanging out on the desk watching me.  The next thing I know, she decided she wanted to sit on my lap and walked right onto it!  She stayed there for quite a while as I did my school work, then meandered off.  I hope that becomes a regular occurrence!
