Stages of Retirement
I was recently reading an article on one of the blogs I follow, Consumerism Commentary. The article is part of the Naked With Cash series, where seven families are sharing their financial progress month by month for an entire year.
One of the monthly updates is from a man who is retired. I had to chuckle as I read his post that described the stages of retirement, which are sometimes referred to as active, sedentary, and terminal. I too prefer the authors choice of how to refer to the stages: go-go, go-slow, and no-go!
I am about 2 years and 3 months from retirement, and I am anxious to reach the go-go phase, and hope to stay in that phase for a very long time!
